AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Addition
This release also introduces the game's third complimentary story episode, titled "The Mystery."
